Karnataka policies make Bangalore India's top entrepreneurial hotspot

In the burgeoning entrepreneurial environment of India, regulations and infrastructure still vary greatly from state to state. Karnataka, home of tech hotbed Bangalore, is widely considered the top destination for Indian entrepreneurs. In a recent interview with the India Times, chief minister S M Krishna shares the secrets behind their success: less red tape, a hands-off view of the government as "just a facilitator", and the growth of engineering colleges in the state that are including entrepreneurship as part of their curriculum.
