Going Into Business for Yourself, the Ultimate Business Oxymoron

Entrepreneurship is really hot these days—everyone wants to "go into business for yourself", it seems. That's an oxymoron. You can't be in business for yourself, or you won't be in business. You have to be in the business for your customers. You are a part-time employee to your customers, fulfilling needs that they can't meet themselves. Understanding this is one of the keys to successful entrepreneurship.
