Entrepreneurs "unprepared and uninformed"

A recent study of UK entrepreneurs reports that despite the abundance of free and inexpensive help available to entrepreneurs, 98% of business owners go into business without undertaking any training in how to start a business. Moreover, they're willing to take huge risks in the process. 30% said they would put their savings at risk, 11% were willing to jeopardize a significant relationship, and 4% were even willing to put their health on the line.

All with no training. Scary!

Dear reader — I beseech you. Don't do this! Trot right down to your local Small Business Administration office, or Small Business Development Center, or whatever your local equivalent is, and get help! For more resources, check out:
