Being an entrepreneur is to have certain qualities which include; 1. Vision 2.focus 3.goal orientered and desirous. It also include that you are to delay gratification in all areas of your life.
In addition, you should be an innovative, risk taker and proactive person before you could achieve your vision or goals. To add to these, one must uphold good behaviour, integrity, which are very important, it will determine whether your business will survive in this 21st.century business environment. Further, one simple but difficult to adhere to is time keeping or time management because, busyness is not business and you need to be time conscious by being on time for appointment or program by this people will see you to be a serious person.
I will also add that we are now in a global village, you should be ready to network and learn by joining associations or groups and be abreast with modern or technological changes especially in the area of ICT which is a very vital vehicle to project your business to the world.
One important aspect is to have a comprehensive business plan which will guide you, it will also help you access loan or attract investors to start or expand your business. You must project a solid leadership and managerial skills and keep good record of all your activities and be consistent and flexible to change strategies which are not working.
In all things, let God be your guide and let all the natural laws work in your favour by thinking and acting positively in a matured manner.
