Dave Panos of Pluck - Interview at SXSW
Some would say that there's a battle for dominance going on between blogs and traditional media. While that may have been true at one point, today the two are merging more and more. Journalists are blogging, newspapers are creating spaces for reader blogs and comments, and so on. But one piece was missing -- how to get the best content from the blogosphere into more traditional media outlets.
Pluck is riding the wave of the convergence of traditional media and consumer-generated media. Their SiteLife product provides the infrastructure for user comments and blogs at major media sites like Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle and Austin American-Statesman. Their latest offering, BlogBurst, connects bloggers with these major media sites, allowing easy syndication and publication of quality blog content.
I pulled Pluck founder Dave Panos off the tradeshow floor at SXSW and talked with him about his entrepreneurial experience with Pluck and how BlogBurst can help business bloggers reach a larger and broader audience.
