Carnival of Entrepreneurship #17 at Escape from Cubicle Nation

Friday May 26, 2006
One of my favorite new bloggers, Pamela Slim at Escape from Cubicle Nation hosts this week's Carnival of Entrepreneurship.

This is one of the best weeks we've had, too, with an outstanding collection of posts on:

  • The realities of working in a startup environment
  • Using radio to promote your book (to promote your business)
  • The top 5 things a venture capitalist wants to hear
  • How to sell more by layering (this was new to me - great post!)
  • The high cost of misdirected marketing, or "how to throw away $500"
  • A great story of practical innovation and how to apply it in your business
  • 8 stupid frat-boy business ideas (hilarious and insightful)
Pamela writes a lot about work-life balance (an admitted weak spot for me). If that's a challenging area for you, an hour or so on her blog will be time well invested.

Next week's carnival will be at Buyout Blog. Visit the Carnival of Entrepreneurship Home Page for more information on reading, contributing to or hosting the carnival.
