John Assaraf and Murray Smith Interview

Tuesday July 10, 2007
John Assaraf and Murray Smith are two of America's top serial entrepreneurs, having built over 17 businesses between them, including RE/MAX of Indiana, Indian Motorcycle, Bamboo.com, and now OneCoach, a business coaching company that arose out of their vision to help one million entrepreneurs succeed in their business, creating a ripple effect throughout the economy and throughout the world.

I had the pleasure of conducting an interview with John and Murray recently, in which we talked about a wide variety of topics on entrepreneurship (see below), as well as some of their own personal successes, failures and lessons learned:

Listen to the interview (40 minutes, 18 Meg MP3 file)

This was such a great interview, I also had it transcribed so you can follow along, refer back to it, or just read it in the first place if you prefer:

  1. Introductions and Background
  2. Limiting Beliefs and Behaviors
  3. The Knowing-Doing Gap: Getting from Knowledge to Action
  4. Success Mindset and Entrepreneurial Passion
  5. Changing the World and the Law of Attraction
  6. Success and Failure and the Lessons They Teach o
  7. Finding Balance and Focusing on Your Priorities
  8. You Don't Have to Go It Alone

Great interview. Some of the topics discussed probably aren’t new to some entrepreneurs but were informative and may serve as a refresher. I enjoyed it.
