Pursue the Passion - Share Your Story

Half the American work force is not satisfied with their job, and only a fifth apply a passion towards their career. As this trend trickles to students entering the working world, people continue to pursue a path that leads them further from their true dreams.

So begins the web site of Pursue the Passion, a collaborative effort of four recent college grads pursuing their own passion of creating a documentary "to assist aspiring individuals to find work they can be passionate about by producing resources that help direct and guide their pursuit." They're traveling across the country in an RV throughout the year of 2007 interviewing people who are actively pursuing their passion in their job, career or business.

Since I'm a firm believer that great entrepreneurship is fueled by great passion, I immediately resonated with this and am planning to meet with the guys when they're here in Austin on October 8-9. If you're actively pursuing your passion and would like to be included in the project, they still have left to visit New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas and Arizona (see tour schedule for exact locations and dates). You can submit your story and be considered for an interview, or just go out and see them in action, take them to lunch or let them crash on your couch.
