In college, I took an acting class. Because I was in film school, it was a requirement for graduation.
I thought going in we'd learn tricks and tips for better getting actors (strange creatures that they are) to do our bidding on film. Instead, we were to be treated just like actors for the duration of the sixteen week semester.
It was not pretty. I'm a pretty cerebral person and in this class we had to talk in animal voices and walk around with chairs on our heads. I was mostly mortified, and certainly the worst actor in the class.
But, by the end, I was also the most improved. And I was sold on the idea that flexing lesser used muscles (including animal voice skills) can be a tremendous boon to the creative process.
So you're working hard on your business, but what are you doing to stay well-rounded, and focused on the big picture? I looked at a few unusual ways to stretch different kinds of muscles.
I hope it will help you in the pursuit of your entrepreneurial dreams, whatever they are.
