Using Social Media to Grow Your Business

I have a confession to make. When I first started poking around with Facebook and Twitter many years back, I wasn't so sure they had much to do with business.

Luckily, my early experiments bore fruit, and now one of my favorite things to teach, when I teach classes, is how the "little guy," aka the entrepreneur, can use social media tools to catapult him or herself over much bigger obstacles. 

Of course, you really have to keep your ear to the ground when you are talking about social media tools. Everything changes so fast. So lately I've been thinking a lot about the "emerging" social network likes Google+ and Pinterest, and so the subject of my latest article is about how you might want to consider Google+ in establishing a profile for yourself or marketing your business.

Of course, our Entrepreneurs site already has a lot of great resources on social media,  from how to get customers via Twitter to developing a social media plan, and I'll be adding to it in the coming months.
