The Moment I Thought We Might Not Make It

I was tirelessly looking for a technical and driven co-founder for one year. I looked everywhere and met with 20-30 people and nobody was a good fit.

How We Turned it Around

Instead of giving up or think I need a partner to launch, I started to brainstorm about how I could launch the site on my own, without an engineer. After a few weeks, the idea of doing video reviews came to my head. I posted internships for video guys and now EcoBold.com is probably more popular than what it would have been due to our informative and fun videos.

Lessons Learned

Hi Steffany, I enjoyed looking at your videos. I found this quote on HuffPost about you, thought I'd share it: "The ratio of women owned businesses in the green industry is about 50-50," shared Eco Bold founder Steffany Boldrini, who creates and produces a web video show that helps consumers live green. Boldrini's a bit like a Rachel Ray or Martha Stewart of eco-friendly lifestyle. Her videos are informative, fun and entertaining, popular among the site's ten different video channels as well as ten different social networks.
