So I was walking past by newsstand when a headline on the cover of Inc Magazine caught my eye.
"How to Make Money in 2013," it said. Of course I bought it.
I love helping people, creativity, teaching and writing, but I also like money. How else am I going to keep my beloved canine sidekick in artisanal dog treats?
But my reaction to the catchy headline got me to thinking a little bit. Not just about business opportunities, but to the actual how of making money. Especially using the web.
I work as a consultant and check-chasing is an annoying part of my operation. Invoicing, following up, running to the bank...I would blame my bookkeeper for her inefficiency but I am my own bookkeeper! I'm glad there are apps like Freshbooks and Harvest -- they allow you to take at least some of the pain of collecting money from your clients online.

Hello im Matt. I was looking for a way to find money online too. I already have a jobworking for AAA roadside here in Alabama. I found this website through facebook http://goo.gl/DXSy5 . When I first looked at it I thought it was total scam! How could they afford to pay me $4 – $7 to call places like gieco and direct t.v. and mearly inquire about their service for time minimums of 5-10 minutes. Either way I have been payed three times since joining on Jan.10 2013 and have made $166.44 total so far. I would say I dedicate 30-40 minutes to this site daily!…Hope this helps! Great Post. We internet marketers have to realize that online it’s not easy but it takes work. Everything is a formula offline and in the internet marketing world.

There is definitely an opportunity to make money online. The world is becoming a global village and you can now target any country from anywhere in the world. I believe that we need time and hard work to generate a substantial online income. It does not come overnight. The harder we work, the earlier the possibility to make money. We should not jump into it thinking we’ll be a millionaire the next day. It’s not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme.
