My Favorite Business iPad App & Why I Use It
The iPad is great for mobile productivity. Mail, Pages and Numbers are essential for my work on the go. Even more incredible is the Google Apps experience on iPad's mobile Safari. Sharing and editing docs, collaborating on spreadsheets and being able to search my email archives without having to store them on my device has been a godsend.
The iPad Business App I'm Most Waiting for and Why
Task and invite sharing that seamlessly integrates with calendar and email programs and is compatible with iPad, iPhone and BlackBerry devices. I need something like this to truly feel empowered to collaborate with my colleagues in a mobile environment.
Tips and Tricks
- Google Voice mobile app is great, but use VoiceCentral to be able to use your iPad as a phone station capable of dialing out to your land/mobile phone on your behalf.
- Air Display is a great app to extend your desktop display. I use it to isolate a particular activity while working on other things, i.e.: mail, chats, or data I am referencing.
